We are proud to announce that The Pavilion at Williamsburg Place has named Nathan Ocegueda, CSAC, as our Business Development Representative. Nathan will build strategic partnerships through a new growth phase in 2022 under Business Development Director Garry Spain, LCSW.
“We are looking forward to expanding and improving our community partnerships in 2022,” said Spain. “It is our goal to be the premier provider of acute psychiatric care on the Peninsula, and Nathan will play an important role for us going forward in this regard.”
Ocegueda is a certified substance abuse counselor in the state of Virginia and has had extensive experience treating individuals living with a substance use disorder. He is widely recognized for his experience working with clients within inpatient and outpatient levels of care, leading him to pursue training and expertise in various areas, including business. He is currently finishing his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Science in clinical psychology from Old Dominion University.
“My goal in Business Development is to increase awareness of the services the Pavilion provides and support mental health advocacy efforts in our local community. I also look forward to growing our relationships with providers in the area so that we can continue to provide psychiatric stabilization to our region,” said Ocegueda.
Coming from a military family, Ocegueda grew up in several regions in the United States. He has now lived in the Hampton Roads area for over 20 years. “Providing services to our military and first responders in the region is extremely important to me. I come from a military family, and so I’m familiar with the sacrifices families in our region make to support the mission,” said Ocegueda.
As part of his new role in Business Development, Nathan will help implement a new growth plan for the treatment programs offered by The Williamsburg Place. The year ahead will mark over 30 years that Williamsburg Place has provided quality care to the Hampton Roads area.
