- Bill Types
Generally, you may receive more than one bill for services provided at The Pavilion, a hospital bill and a bill from providers of physician services. These bills may be sent separately and require different copays, coinsurance and deductible amounts. Please check each of the billing statements sent to you and contact the billing office listed on the particular statement for additional questions.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as part of the 2019 IPPA Final Rule requires hospitals to make available online a listing of standard hospital charges. While laboratory and pharmacy charges are listed in the files above, please note that purchased services such as these are included in the global billing rate and reflected in the inpatient per day rate charge as posted. Additionally, a patient’s responsibility may vary from charges posted based on their type of insurance coverage and benefits. Questions related to out- of-pocket estimates or financial coordination can be directed to our Billing Department at the number.
The Pavilion provides assistance to eligible patients through payment plans, a lending program, and financial counseling. These services are reviewed and initiated with eligible patients, as appropriate, at the point of or after admission.
